Check your junk mail - - the first thing to make sure of is that we get the hardware fingerprint of your machine, so that a license can be issued. Emails, regarding this, have been sent to the address you included with your purchase. You can get more information regarding this here:

those emails never got to me - - would have gotten to me, spelled correctly. I'm sorry that you had so many problems. As you probably know by now, I've refunded your money. Never before have so many things lined up and caused turmoil in the purchasing process. It was just an unfortunate chain of events and I apologize greatly for all the problems.

The first thing I'd recommend is reinstalling Second - I need to ask, that since you're running Vista, was it ever running consistently on your computer (when did this start)? also, there's a 5.1 update (exe only) download you can try - - it's free for registered 5.0 users like yourself which operating system are you using?

click on the help file or press f1 - - use the index tab and type in FTP it tells you how to do this - run the FTP application that's built in (Shift-F9) you just right click in the upper left area of the FTP screen and choose 'Add FTP site' Fill that in and click OK. You can either use the FTP interface (Shift-F9), or the FTP tag of the toolbox, in ASP Express

just send an email to, with your name and approximate date of purchase. Install the demo of ASP Express, and using the popup, get the Hardware Fingerprint, send it back to us and we can get you a new license for the new computer Hardware Fingerprint information:

Sorry - ASP Express is only setup for SQL Server and MS Access. You might try our other product, SG7 (Solution Generator). It is not the same kind of product, but it handles MySQL. (although it hasn't been tested with 5.x)

If you have an earlier version of iWrite Professional installed, completely remove/uninstall the older version before installing the new one

Where is the path /gbc/ located? Is it in your localhost webserver directory (a subfolder of inetpub\wwwroot)?
